some days of agrarblog silence, due to a big exam this week. nothing much happening basically, enjoying life and the fact, that my knee is improving steadily. after working in the gym for several weeks - pushing weights, cycling and doing stabilisations - i am going to restart aquatraining on tuesday and running on friday, which both represent quite decisive steps in the recovering process. i am looking forward to seeing, how everything will react within the next weeks. /// during a reha phase there are also things you might sometimes underestimate. like yesterday, when i was confronted with the sympathy of veendam. during a signature hour in the city, much people came to me to buoy up, which really meant a nice and powering support to me. thx a lot.

too many germans in this building, that's for sure. thank god, that human nature gets used to everything... anyway. in the last months i have absorbed a lot of german german language, which brutally differs from my own one, the highly-educated austrian german... but today, companero björn from bremen marked a new highpoint concerning odd expressions. "i'm getting undressed" in german german: "ich ziehe blank." holy shit, better stay in your own country ;)

fc groningen against ajax amsterdam. always nice to be in euroborg, this great multifunctional stadium featuring cinema, college and supermarket. today of course football highlife, when big ajax is coming to town. groningen, starting brilliantly, leading 2-0 after the first half (goals: levchenko, suarez). but suddenly, after the break, the impressive personality of jaap stam brings the boys from the capitol back to life. finally, ajax turns the wedstrijd and wins 3-2 (stam, heitinga, leonardo) and leaves groningen disappointed.

ipods and lifes sometimes resemble (fucking first sentence...). there are days when both are randomized. today morning, reading of changing company members' mentalities, using the shuffle mode of my white friend. simply impossible to know all your music, or at least, to perceive every song in a conscious way. within the last four hours i have discovered some great tones, longing for more attention. among, unnoticed tracks from sigur ròs (today's new halfweekly tune), the beatnuts, keith jarrett or mia. get shuffled.

dry your eyes. not your clothes. the typical wool pullover fate in a common laundry: being taken out of the washing machine by somebody, thoughtlessly smashed into the dryer. the high-grade aggressive dryer by the way... however, whoever. the result is a bad one. shrinked to xxxs-size, the pullover will at most have a right to exist at the next navigaytion festival...

some days ago, there was a video link posted on this blog, displaying a girl called anschie, complaining about existing hate towards her and her favourite band. today evening, when going for dinner with some friends of mine, poor anschie came back in my mind. all that she longed for was respect, and now it is time to show. tokio hotel fans out there, agrar is on your side! >>> download a little respect or watch it on youtube...

i guess he said it ten times within the last quarter hour: "i enjoyed it so much back in the US, it fucks me up to be in europe!" mike jennings in van houtenlaan, expect the unexpected. after leaving in december, no one ever thought about seeing our part-time gangster again. and suddenly, today evening: back in black. forced to re-visit groningen for signing a single paper, hihihi... good luck in sweden, mike! and greetings to your mother ;)

due to a heated weblog discussion about timekilling TV formats (some also call it senseless), letting children sing for soap-bubbled dreams. a girl advancing her view of things: "leave the fans of casted bands alone!"

sometimes precious music is nearer than expected. yesterday i accidentally discovered, that flo from the 7th floor plays drums in a band called on canvas. so please fasten seatbelts and listen to their remarkable debut EP "the cave-in content" on myspace. addititionally you can watch the video to "sun", which i am also allowed to give to you as a mp3 download tomorrow (thanks, flo). stay tuned.

what a wonderful (to)day in van houtenlaan. the sun is shining, refusing winter to exist. the first days back have been great, including kind of a special vhl atmosphere, shared by everyone. at least it seems so. friday and saturday evening, a big bunch of people has been sitting together in the common room, talking about home countries, archaeology and female football. 2nd floor bad boys included...

speaking about music. since yesterday's return i have met some wonderful new songs. some of them, staying undiscovered on my ipod for quite a long time. like the albums of beth orton, boundlessly recommendable. or klez.e, a german band from...... germany (detailed information? not on this site...), making an exceptional LP called "flimmern" at the beginning of last year.

however, today's halfweekly tune comes from london. floating electronically between relaxation and reduced hips moving: "in the morning" by the junior boys.
