album recommendations were rare in the last time, which was not based on a lack of good music. days ago i had massive breakfast with buddy onadaylike, who is always there with some precious hiphop gifts. like this time. a guy and his guitar, rapping the shit out of him. great album, great album title: plan b "who needs actions when you got words"

spending two days with american buddy jason in my home country. showing him a city of light, partly much more beautiful than i had in mind. talking about differences, (alleged) personal developments and above all the actual state of a union, originally installed to bring people closer together. at least in my romantic interpretation... however, we are far away from this keynote. the current european union faces two tendencies: the fortress character towards the outside - the non-member states, and an inner core of non-understanding and prejudice. the latter concerns me a lot and it is what i want to speak about now.

what does an austrian (or any other european) know about slovenia? or poland? or hungary? nothing. we live in our cities, surrounded by hills, seas and mountains, helping us to feel safe and among ourselves. looking beyond our own nose is simply not necessary, as long as a lot is going well. frugality between europe's inhabitants differs, yes. but it always exists. investing in an extraordinary idea, older than 50 years in the meantime? not at all. some people may argue now, that the formation of the union is based on economic thoughts. true. but what is the aim of economy, labour and employment? creating better life for people. the question concerning this, in my opinion, is always a directive one. is it right to place economy first? to look at life always in a top-down way? non lo so, but at least i don't think so. we first have to widen our minds, before we are able to live the social, political and economic ideas of an european union. how can we pretend to live together, when we don't even know, that bulgaria is the only country having a yogurt bacteria, we all eat every day. that the netherlands offers more than smoking weed in amsterdam. that the hungarian language doesn't know sexes. we can't, because we refuse to leave. our nations, our need of security and our lazyness. it's all falling back on us, that's for sure.

the agrarblog will basically have a quiet month, as announced earlier. anyway, due to yesterday's return of my parents from their visit in the netherlands, a short looking back in the form of some photos, taken last week in groningen and surroundings.

due to the removal of our entire floor furniture, i got two old new roommates: fiona and fritz (so photogenic!). both fishes, both men, both not knowing this... at least fiona still believes in his vagina. anyway, they seem to like it, back in two-o-three. actually, i have never seen them so frolic. swimming, playing tag, enjoying the sun sending its light into their appartment. welcome back, boys........ girls!

"Aufregung: Bischof verweigert Pfarrer die Hostie. Eine große Festmesse hätte die Wiedereröffnung der Pfarrkirche von Gallneukirchen (Bezirk Urfahr-Umgebung) werden sollen. Doch Bischof Ludwig Schwarz verweigerte dem evangelischen Pfarrer die Hostie. Viele Gläubige fühlen sich vor den Kopf gestoßen. Bischof Ludwig Schwarz habe bei der Eucharistie-Feier den ebenfalls die Messe mitfeiernden evangelischen Pfarrer Günter Wagner einfach ignoriert, sagt ein Augenzeuge. Und weiter: "Der Pfarrer stand wie angewurzelt da und hat Tränen in den Augen gehabt." Durch das geltende Kirchenrecht ist das Vorgehen von Bischof Ludwig Schwarz voll gerechtfertigt. Was vielen Gläubigen beider Konfessionen aber gegen den Strich geht, ist die Tatsache, dass Pfarrer Günter Wagner sein (evangelisches) Gotteshaus während der Umbauzeit der katholischen Kirche rund zehn Monate lang auch für Messen und Veranstaltungen von Katholiken bereitwillig geöffnet hatte. Der katholische Pfarrer Klaus Dopler will die Angelegenheit nicht auf sich beruhen lassen und sucht demnächst das Gespräch mit dem Bischof: "Das war immer schon mein Stil. Davon verspreche ich mir mehr, als dass die Sache über die Öffentlichkeit ausgetragen wird." Augenzeugen reagieren auf den Vorfall indes wütend: "Wenn römisches Recht zum Unrecht werde, dann werde Widerstand zur Pflicht", sagt ein Messgeher erzürnt.
